Thin Concrete Paving (TCP) is a revolutionary design method aimed at reducing concrete thickness without sacrificing concrete performance.  It minimizes stress and curling, eliminates the use of dowels and rebar, has superior mixing and finishing, and most importantly increases the service life to 20-30 years.

  • Fibers - Synthetic fiber is used in the concrete mix as the reinforcement which eliminates rebar and dowels while extending the life of the project.
  • Replaces Asphalt - TCP is 20-30% less expensive than traditional concrete and 10-15% less expensive than asphalt.
  • Customized Designs - Matchless Concrete collaborates with PNA and Forta Fiber to customize pavement designs to fit your facility's traffic and load conditions.
  • Reduces Cost - Thin Concrete Paving significantly reduces concrete thickness, construction time and material costs, potentially saving your company hundreds of thousands or millions up front.
  • Less Out-of-Joint Cracking/Curling - While concrete curl can be significantly reduced, it cannot be eliminated. The curl of a slab is more pronounced in a 12-15 foot panel than in a 6-8 foot panel that experiences the same radius of curl. The TCP system minimizes mid-panel cracking by distributing wheel loads over the shorter panels while maintaining the same load-bearing capacity.
